Appetizer

I moved to Nashville on October 7, 2014 with the intention of becoming a session guitarist. I still aspire to do this, but with my wife having a job and me being gloriously unemployed at the moment while trying to pursue my dreams, I have decided to start a blog about two things that I am overwhelmingly passionate about: music and food. Every blog post, probably weekly or more frequently, depending on how the mood strikes me, will feature a new musical thing I am digging and a new dish I am eating/preparing to eat/have eaten.

The exciting part of this blog is that it is a blank canvas, meaning I can write about anything I want on the subjects of music and food. I will included photos of everything I am experiencing musically and gastronomically on this blog as well as some semblance of recipes and whatnot. I want this to be something of a total sensory experience, including taste, which you can achieve by making the recipes I post.

I also aspire to get the local musicians, stores, restaurants, cooks, brewers, and whoever else I can in order to make this feel like a communal environment. It’s going to be a good time. Hang out.
